Malaysia’s Nicol David begins her sixth year as world number one this month, according to the new January Women’s World Squash Rankings published today by the Women’s International Squash Players’ Association (WISPA).

The latest WISPA rankings showcase some exciting changes with Madeline Perry breaking into the top 5 for the first time. Raneem El Weleily moves into the 10th spot while Low Wee Wern takes No. 20. Squash Stars Kasey Brown and Samantha Teran have also moved up the rankings—to No. 8 and No. 12 respectively.
