Its been a while since I’ve written a blog. The last few months have been very quiet in terms of international events so I have been training hard in my New York base, with coach Rod Martin and Brisbane base with the AIS. It was great to have a good block of training where I could get stuck in on working on a variety of aspects to my game and increasing my strength and fitness levels.

But it’s back to business now and I arrived in Kuala Lumpur yesterday to get ready for the Malaysian Open which starts Wednesday. I play a qualifier in the first round so along with training, I will be watching the qualifying event over the next few days. Tomorrow there will be a press conference held at the National Centre which I will attend. I am looking forward to competing again and I hope my hard work will pay off in the event.
