Closing in on the end of the tournament, more and more people have been filling up the place. Once all the seats were taken, wherever anyone could find a space to stand, that’s where they were throughout the evening.
Being the second semi final match, everyone’s anticipation was elevated even more. Playing Jenny was going to be a combination of two different styles, but both keeping a constructive game of squash. The two of us were throwing all kinds of shots to get one another on their toes.
Today I played one of my best matches so far in the tournament, while Jenny kept the pressure on at the same time. Everything came my way and I was on a mission to give it a good go in this semi. Some monster rallies with great stroke play from Jenny but I somehow came up with some steady shots to carry me through till I got the match.
