On hyper mode in the Semis

Stepping into court today with the crowd cheering, really got me going. Natalie and I have been through this scenario before and I was set for the challenge.

Natalie came out playing consistently throughout the entire match. Each game was a toss up between who was able to take that control of each other and keeping our focus in at the right time. The rallies were well intense with hardly any mistakes.

The first game was close up til 5-5 then I managed to take it right through to win that game. It was anyone’s game in the second but I knew I had to hang in there with her. We both did not want to budge. Finally, I got that game and was ready to step up in the third. We both stepped up a notch but I had a string of points to win before reaching match ball. Natalie fought back to 10-10 but made 2 mistakes that gave me the match.

I really enjoyed that match. Now, it’s all out in the finals with Alison Waters tomorrow. Keep onto our live blogging for more exciting squash coming your way.
