WSA November 2013 best performance goes to… Natalie Grinham, Camille Serme and Dipika Pallikal!

November’s rankings see Nicol David make it an 88th consecutive month at the top after capturing three titles in October at the Carol Weymuller Open, US Open and China Open. The rest of the top five remain unchanged with US Open finalist Laura Massaro at no.2, China Open finalist Raneem El Weleily at no.3, Alison Waters at no.4 and Joelle King at no.5.

A surprise semi final finish at the China Open sees Natalie Grinham move to no.6, her highest ranking for over three years since she took time out to have her first child. Camille Serme equals her highest ranking at no.7 after knocking out three seeds on the way to the Carol Weymuller Open final.

Dipika Pallikal won the biggest title of her career at the Macau Open in October as well as reaching the quarter finals at the China Open, this leap saw the Indian star move up five places to no.12. Also in the top 20, US number one Amanda Sobhy moved up three places to no.20, her first time in the top 20 since the beginning of the year.

Outside the top there were a number of career highs recorded. Victoria Lust moved up seven places to no.28 while Tesni Evans moved up one place to no.38. 16 year old Nouran Ahmed Gohar has been making big moves on the tour in recent months and this month saw the next Egyptian superstar rise a staggering 21 places to no.41, the youngest player in the top 50. Fellow Egyptian and still only just 17 year old Salma Hany Ibrahim moves up five places to no.44. Megan Craig rises two places to no.45, 16 year old Sabrina Sobhy moves up six places to no.54.
