My first Wispa match with Kasey in the Quarters

Nice to be on the glass court here at the Curve. Kasey is set to go even after waiting a little longer than our scheduled time at 9pm. We worked the rallies well to begin with but today I was feeling the court better and moving well.

I got a good head start in the first game and made sure I stuck to it. In the second game, she started to change her game a little and got a couple of winners that came in. That game was pretty tight and I had to bring the intensity to her to get a 2-0 lead.

In the third game, she tried to mix her shots more but I still had to keep the pressure on. I was pleased with my win today especially my movement on that glass court.

It’s Natalie Grinham again tomorrow but in the semis this time so continue to catch the live blogging on our site!
