World Squash Federation President N Ramachandran today stressed that innovation will be a core element of Squash’s campaign for inclusion into the 2020 Olympic Games. He also outlined the significant growth the sport has achieved in recent years and some of the major enhancements that have been introduced since Squash’s most recent campaign for Olympic inclusion for 2016.

Following on from the success of the recent WSF Men’s World Squash Championship held in Paderborn, Germany, the sport of Squash has received a further boost this week by featuring on the front cover of this month’s Sport Business International Magazine.

Former world number one John White will join Nicol David, the reigning women’s world number one from Malaysia, in the inaugural WSF Ambassador Programme in Latvia in November.

The World Squash Federation (WSF) today announced that it is opening an office in the Maison Du Sport International in Lausanne, Switzerland, to work alongside the many other International Federations of sport based there and to be close to the headquarters of the International Olympic Committee.

Following the IOC’s announcement that Squash is on the shortlist for Olympic inclusion in 2020, the World Squash Federation (WSF) today announced that it has appointed VERO Communications to be its Bid Management Company.
