Alana Miller represented Canada in professional squash and reached a career-high world ranking of World No. 30 in May 2009. She was the Canadian National Champion for 2003, 2007 & 2008. Alana retired after representing Canada at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, retiring as the 35th ranked women’s squash player and highest ranked Canadian woman.

Meadowood Pharmacy Open

Hello Squash Fans, especially those in Winnipeg, the Meadowood Pharmacy Open has started. Last night four qualifiers: Nikki Todd, Suzie King, Imelda Salazar Martinez and our own Tara Chawla made it through to the main round. Tonight I am playing Nikki Todd at 6pm. Sun and Surf

Tomorrow is finals day at the Sun and Surf where Manuela and Latasha will battle it out for top spot.  The event has been a huge success.  The squash has impressed the many Vancouverites. Recoverin’ in Canada

Because of my calf injury in April, five months have passed since I’ve played a tournament and I’m keen to get back onto the competition stage.  I have been doing intense physio along with training on court and my recovery has been long but successful.  I am finally physically strong enough to play in the Sun and Surf in Vancouver at the Jericho Club– one of the most beautiful settings for a tournament as the club looks over an inlet of [...]
