Hello Squash Fans, especially those in Winnipeg, the Meadowood Pharmacy Open has started. Last night four qualifiers: Nikki Todd, Suzie King, Imelda Salazar Martinez and our own Tara Chawla made it through to the main round. Tonight I am playing Nikki Todd at 6pm. Tomorrow is finals day at the Sun and Surf where Manuela and Latasha will battle it out for top spot. The event has been a huge success. The squash has impressed the many Vancouverites. Because of my calf injury in April, five months have passed since I’ve played a tournament and I’m keen to get back onto the competition stage.
